Who am I?
The last few years have provided me with an increasing awareness of the challenges of leading well against contexts that are complicated, ambiguous and where resources are lacking.
My own coaching journey began in a place of recognising, and then confronting, the internal conflict that arose when who I am came up against what was expected from me, and the pressure that put upon on the roles I inhabited at the time. I discovered I was not alone.
In that moment of realisation, when what was once a good place to be had developed into something that felt damaging, coaching was so helpful in enabling me to start to see things differently.
Coaching can help develop our insight and enable positive change to transform or redeem a situation.
I have over 25 years experience of working in a complex institution in a leadership position, including at a senior level. I know more than most how the organisation, the roles we are in, and who we are all interplay and impact our work, our team and the wider workplace. I understand how hard it can be to bring your authentic self to work, and navigate the challenges that are found there.
I also know how starting to look under the surface as to what might be happening within us, our roles, and the wider organisation can bring about powerful transformational change – resulting in better personal understanding, better relationships and greater positive influence and action.
I have significant experience in the Faith Sector (especially the Church of England), as well as the Third Sector and Public Sector.
Contact me
Our initial conversation will be about 40 minutes long. Ideally we find somewhere to meet face to face. During that meeting we get to know about each other a little, and I explain how I work. You might want to share something as to what has brought you to the moment of wondering and exploring whether a coach could be helpful. At the end we decide whether we can work together (or we go away and have a think about that).
There is no charge for this meeting.
